The Bay Book Share Library
How does the book share library work?
- Check out is by the honor system.
- Take and read or browse through any of the materials in the library and return them when you're done.
- Consider taking a picture of what you're borrowing so that you remember what to return.
- There is no due date!
- Use our curriculum and books for the whole year, just a semester or any time period that you need them for.
- If it's a book, rather than curriculum, please be considerate of others. Remember, this is a book SHARE.
- All consumable workbooks are for the taking and using.
- We ask that if you use it, please DON'T return it. Don't return anything you wouldn't use yourself.
- Check the copywrite before making copies.
- If it's a resource that you can make copies of (see copywrite info inside the book) then feel free to do so, otherwise please don't make copies.
- Help us keep good books on the shelf and the bad books out!
- If you see a book or item on the shelf that raises any concerns or conflicts with GOH beliefs, please turn the book into the front office.
- Return items to the book drop box or replace them on the shelf they came from.
- Since the books are not sorted alphabetically or by dewy decimal, simply put them in the correct category.
- We do not have a librarian but a team of volunteers who reshelve and keep things tidy. Please be considerate of this and leave the library better that you found it.
- Donate books!
- If you have books that are worth sharing leave them in the room/closet just across the hall and the GOH team will sort through them! THANK YOU!
